Soul Siblings are those unique individuals who walk alongside us on our life journey. You may or may not cross paths with them throughout your entire life, but when you do, there's an undeniable connection. It's as if your life paths are parallel, orbiting each other in the vast cosmos. These connections are not random; they are part of a much larger spiritual framework—a Soul Cluster—a term I’ve coined to describe this phenomenon.
When you enter this world in your physical body, you’re not alone. You come as part of a collection of souls, a Cluster, that incarnates around the same time or in similar life circumstances. These souls are drawn to the same places, times, and experiences, forming a network of spiritual attachments that are more interconnected than we might realize.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOUL CLUSTER & SOUL SIBLINGS
Clusters are like those people you keep encountering in your life—whether it's at a remote location, a concert, or during your daily commute. They are the ones who share your experiences, moving through similar life events at the same time. For instance, the people you went to high school or college with, the faces you recognize at your favorite café, or even the strangers stuck in traffic beside you—they are all part of your Cluster.
Clusters might seem insignificant at first glance, but when you start to consider how these people are experiencing life parallel to yours, you realize the profound synchronicity at play. These overlapping experiences are no accident; they are part of a greater spiritual journey, a dance of souls that draws us together for reasons beyond our immediate understanding.
Soul Siblings, on the other hand, have a much more involved connection with you. While they are usually part of your Cluster, their life paths intersect with yours in more noticeable and impactful ways. These are the people whose presence in your life feels divinely orchestrated, those whose influence shapes your journey in ways that are impossible to ignore.
Let me share a few stories to illustrate what I mean
John was a former teacher turned lover, and though we lived in the same city for only three years, our lives continued to intersect in surprising ways. We’ve kept in touch vaguely, even though we’ve lived in different parts of the world. His English teacher growing up was my father’s girlfriend. His cat was eventually adopted by my father. We haven’t seen each other in 12 years, yet a new colleague of mine recently met him at an event in a completely different country, and they both realized they knew me through LinkedIn. This is no mere coincidence—SIBLING.
Cloee and I went to college together for a year before she transferred to a better school. We performed dance together but lost touch afterward. However, we ended up living in the same city, caring about the same things. Her sister’s best friend is connected to me through work, and though we haven’t reconnected in person, we’re on the same mailing list. Again, the connection is undeniable—SIBLING.
Isabel lived a few neighborhoods over when we were growing up. We attended the same schools for years, even had a random encounter in Europe when we were both under five years old. Though we lost touch after college, we reconnected when I stayed with her in Glasgow during a time of need. Now, nearly 20 years later, our moms serve on the same social group board for expats in Greece, with no recollection of knowing each other. But I remember—SIBLINGS.
I have countless stories like these—so many people in my life with whom the connection feels divinely orchestrated. And I know many of you reading this are either part of my Cluster or are straight-up Soul Siblings to me. We all feel it.
I am blessed (or perhaps cursed?) with an exceptional memory that allows me to see how life’s puzzle pieces fit together, painting a giant picture of connection. I often envision the world as a giant network, much like the Internet or our neural pathways, constantly exchanging information, connecting every soul to everything else.
There’s another layer of connection that involves souls with whom we are karmically bound—those we owe debts to or have agreed to walk with us in this life as parents, children, best friends, partners, and more. These spiritual relationships often include the concept of a twin flame—a soul with whom we share an intense and transformative bond, often challenging but profoundly rewarding.
